Jake Gyllenhaal may not have made it to the Sunday night cocktail party but no matter! He made it to the Saturday night cocktail party. Hopefully, Jake was still able to pick up a glass of 'Brotherly Love' (see previous posts for vodka cocktail reference). The cocktail party took place at the Four Seasons in NYC - and so we have some pictures where Jake and Tobey Maguire are wearing their interview clobber and others where they're not. Natalie looks beautiful here. I believe that she did not make the Saturday cocktail party but she did make the Sunday cocktail party. Jim Sheridan definitely made it to both. The particularly happy man is Executive Producer Ryan Kavanaugh.
I would just like to point out that the guy on the left is Jake Gyllenhaal.
We've had the cool, funny video - it's now time for the - opposite. This is 'A Powerhouse of Emotion'. It's 'Powerful' and 'Gripping'. Rated R. I'd say more but I've not the voice for it.

I love that daily 10 interview, Jake is so much fun to interview. What's the thing about the Japanese audience? *g* And he's back to my favourite Jake-shape.
And wonderful pics of that Saturday night party (so he was there BEFORE the premiere?). I know I am naughty to day this - but standing next to Toby, Jake is apparently the "handsome one" in the family :)

This is a fantastic interview - I laughed all the way through it. Jake is a gift! The Japanese thing was funny. I just wish it had lasted longer.
Yeay, Jake made the Saturday party. I have to say I agree with you. I would say that Tobey got the brains, but Jake has plenty of those too!

To say there is too much Jake these days certainly wouldn't be true when we have been starving for this kind of excitement for a long time. But all these daily - even hourly - treats is very overwhelming. In a really good way, of course.
The clips from the film, amazing interviews and stunning pictures are wonderful. How cute is he with the little girls! And he looks great with Tobey, though clearly not that much alike that he should be mistaken for him.
I can barely keep up with the breaking news. The count down is on for Brothers opening day here in the States. Will it be the same day for you? The preview is getting steady airplay on tv. I get more excited everytime I see it.
Thankfully, next Friday is my day off work. I don't even have to wonder what I will be doing! Thanks, again for your excellent Jake coverage, WDW.

hi Dani! Definitely overwhelming but in a good way - I'm loving it. I just wish I had more time to savour it all. But I'm sure I'll get the time.
Unfortunately Brothers doesn't open in the UK for almost another two months - 22 January. But we can enjoy another run up for it here and one can hope that Jake'll pop across :D I've seen no ads for it here. It's much quieter here. I bet I know what you'll be doing on that Friday! I do hope you enjoy it!

Cute interview, loved when Jake said he dated Jim Sheridan for awhile, but they moved on and were still good friends. :)
The latest Brothers clip does look powerful - the scene at the end with Sam? walking through a national cemetery. For me, each clip doesn't give the story away, but raises more questions. From seeing the first clip, I really wouldn't have thought of these other clips. I really can't wait to see it.

Thank you AGAIN WDW for all the hard work...we so appreciate it...we are loving all of this!!
Unfortunately I have been catching up early in the morning and late at night with not much time to indulge mid-day - that will hopefully change over the long holiday weekend - I need to revisit ALL of this!! (I think you wanted this holiday on your side of the pond too WDW, right? OK...you can have it too...the pilgrims won't mind...hee hee).
In the meantime I continue playing catch up and am enjoying it all. I've recorded all the shows that are showing up on line and will go through them this weekend...if these interviews are this much fun on the computer I know I'll enjoy them even more on my TV screen!! I never get sick of these vids!!

Hi WDW, just wanted to let you know I'm still lurkin' and that this post was irresistible even to me in my pre-film 'confinement' (not watching any interviews or reviews-I skim over top of em with my eyes unfocused !).
