New Prince of Persia featurette - 'Behold the mighty ostrich!'
Prince of Persia has a new behind the scenes featurette: Creating an Epic. And it gives us a fantastic look at this world, recreated in Morocca's beautiful and dramatic landscapes. As Jake Gyllenhaal says: 'It goes beyond that level of what you're used to seeing.'

wow, pretty amazing featurette! I watched it without the sound, but still... I guess there will be a 1/2 or one hour special "The making of...". CAn't wait!!

This is the best I've seen yet - the landscapes are just gorgeous - so real. Dastan looks magnificent on horseback. Prince of Persia is going to be very good. May can't be that far away now. Off to watch again. :)

hahaha that featurette really made me smile. Ostriches look so funny when they run fast! That new clip of Dastan and Tamina is very hot! I love Jake on a horse :) I love the last clips too, Jake has a manic smile on his face but it soon dissapears. Oh i can't wait!

Off line for one day and what wonderful goodies have been floating around the internet...exciting stuff!! This is what we've all been waiting for...now let's see if we can keep up with it all! Would it be irresponsible of me to put work and family duties aside during the PoP publicity months and the Source Code filming?! LOL!!

Speaking of kiss asses, where's Ruby? Accusing me of trying to 'soften the intended insult' huh?! I wouldn't think of using our admiration of Jake in such an evil way. Well, then again... :-)
I too like the idea of Jake drinking himself out of a tennis competition...this video sounds like more "fun Jake on video" for us to enjoy! Love that!
As for parking the car in the Harvard yard...hmmmm...now that it has been mentioned I don't think one can actually do that. What a stupid saying! WDW, you were there last summer, right? Did you see any Cahs Pahked there?!

I've never had almond butter, I don't think I've ever seen it in the stores. But I should check it out.
hmmmmm not sure what the reference to BBM means. I wonder if after POP comes out Jake will still be referred to as that actor from BBM (I'll still think of him as Jack Twist)

Hi Sweetpea :D I hope Jake will always be known for more than one role, however loved that one role is :) I've enjoyed seeing references to him recently as the 'Prince of Persia actor'. We will always love BBM but if we also love Jake we must let him own these other roles. He picks such good ones!
Probably when you're nominated for an Oscar the movie you are nominated for will be the one mentioned with the actor's name esp. in a still young career. Tho for some people he's still Donnie Darko and I'm sure before long he'll be the Prince of Persia for many. Harrison Ford always has Indiana Jones and Star Wars mentioned. It's just a way of identifying actors. It doesn't hinder unless it's an actor who only has one role they are known for. Jake won't be in that category.
