Back in those heady days of Prince of Persia London week, Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on the UK's Live at Studio 5 where he managed to reduce the interviewer and (to an even greater degree) the presenters back in the studio into a fluttery mess of giggles and blushes. Something to do with 'his beautiful eyes, those gorgeous lips and that... body'. With many thanks to Ruby for her technical wizardry (you may recall that my TV transmitter literally blew up that night - due to Jake's heat, no doubt), here is the interview.
Last night Jake Gyllenhaal took his many-zipped and much-travelled leather jacket out on the town in LA. First off, they enjoyed some award-winning sushi at Nobu before heading off to Las Palmas club with school friend and singer Adam Levine.
After hanging out with Marcus Mumford last weekend, wearing Jenny Lewis on his chest during the week, and out bopping with Maroon 5's frontman last night, one can only speculate which singer Jake will be seen with next. Lady GaGa perhaps.

Yes its Queens this week. Or at least it was, not sure if they've played anything cos of the weather.
I'm trying to think of a comment relating Jake to tennis but its not coming easily, which is always a good sign to let be ;D

I've been distracted from the tennis by PoP! Since Vampire Weekend, my image of Jake as a fabulous hunky tennis player has kinda gone into that Hedgehog Kung Fu part of my brain... :D

great pics of jake wdw, i lov these types of pics too...he looks sooo hot all in black...although he didnt look as happy to see the paps as he did when he was at the gym (no cheeky,sexy grin). i love the fact that he wears the same clothes (more than once)like that jacket...its like he still exists in the 'real' world.
the only critism that i have (and it really isnt that big a deal)...but ive noticed quite a few times now is that he likes to wear these trusted brown shoes (practically all the time) as opposed to when he's wearing his trainers. i thinks its quite sweet that he is such a hot dresser.. i mean i dont think he looks bad in anthing and his suits are really nice BUT he always wears these brown shoes..with black suits, grey suits..even with his ensemble last night...either he loves these brown shoes or someone needs to get him a black pair.
i know, im being really stupid...but his outfits are so sexy...then his footwear doesnt match.
i forgot to add that im glad you and the mr are feeling alot better
Thanks Sabina :) I know what you mean about the shoes - sometimes you know Jake's wearing them without looking - like last night when he's dressing up a bit, so Nike off and brown scuffed boots on! But I do love how Jake loves his favourite clothes and isn't a clothes horse. Love how the old t-shirts, jeans, jackets, shoes etc keep getting an airing. Just like the rest of us :D
Butm there's an exception! As a Nike girl, I love to see Jake's ever increasing pairs of bright Nikes! If I'm dressing up I get out my smart Nike :D

how desperate is that!!!...on 2nd thoughts i could so watch him do the ironing...(and what makes it great is...he probably does iron the odd clothes)
I'm sure Jake is a dab hand with an iron, Sabina :D Unfortunately, I don't even own one so it's difficult for me to comment! Maybe he could give me lessons...

Hi Carol! We should get Jake to set up a househusband workshop so that we grab get some tips :D I don't think I've been able to do any housework (that word makes me shiver) since the PoP premiere - priorities, you know...
what do you think are the chances of some sexy new pics of jake at the gym surfacing tomorrow?...i miss our daily workout...i've come to the conclusion that whether i physically go to the gym myself or i see new pics of jake on the net...it has the same effect...increase in heart rate!!!...thats the whole point of excercise right? to get the heart pumping?..well jake does that for me already..so i figure im getting some kind of fitness regime going..hahaha
That workshop is just what we need I think:) Me and housework are a bit like oil and water....they just don't mix all that well lol:)
I hope we get some more gym pics soon or even better some pics with the motorbike. I think I could skip going to the gym altogether if I was to see them!!

umm, I like the brown scuffed boots and the Jenny-hoody. Still lovin' the jacket. No-one should feel bad about Jake going to gym more than them. He doesn't work a nine-to-five. I wanna go on the back of his bike, whatever kind of bike it is. I can just about manage an eye-roll for the other Prince. The technical wizardry required other than the 'press the red button' part was all down to the Mr. and you're welcome.

Ah sweet Jake hanging out with his old school grade buddy Adam. I believe they go way back and wasn't in his own band before the acting bug got to him?
Jake's a single man now so looking a bit crumpled is really rather normal for single guys whose Mom and sis are not around. And its hot as heck.

i agree wdw, jake always looks good-neat, tidy, well groomed. he never looks disheveled or unkempt. even after a workout he still manages to look fresh and well turned out.

Jake just lights everything up, imo! His smile wearing the Jenny Lewis hoodie was just adorable and he looks great with Adam Levine.
While I don't know what he feels or thinks, based on the recent interviews, pics, etc. he seems to be in a really good place. He has a great sense about him if that doesn't sound to weird. :p

poor Jake can't hang with his buddies without the paps clicking away. Well at least we can see he is enjoying his down time (till the next movie role) with his friends. I am happy for him

Hi Sweetpea :) Jake's said during the PoP tour that he feels able to deal with the paps and I'm sure he can. Most of the time he avoids them fine (including when he's on the motorbike - which isn't fine...). But he looks pretty happy in the car with Adam. I bet that they had a good laugh :D

Waaay back in the early 00's when I first became a fan of Jake's, I remember him talking about Maroon 5 and Rilo Kiley. At the time both bands were somewhat unknown to the general public. It's nice to see Jake is still friends with Adam and supports Jenny.

Best of luck to all those lucky enough to have teams in the World Cup this year. Ireland made a rather unfortunate exit in the qualifiers:( I shall be tuning into the England v. USA game tomorrow night. It makes me smile to know that Jake will probably be watching too!!

Morning everyone! Yay! World Cup begins. I find it hard to support a team with so many players from "rival" teams in. I know that should be the case, but it's the Evertonians way. I wish the USA weren't in our group because i would probably support them, infact i may anyway. (two Everton players in that side) I'm not very patriotic.
And YAY for Wimbledon! So excited! But again i'm unpatriotic :P Andy Roddick is my favourite player, i can't stand Murray.
I wonder if we get pap pics of Jake at the airport today ;) It'd be great if he could go to SA. If not then i'm fine with pics of him on his bike.. :D
