Jake Gyllenhaal - a local work of art

****EMERGENCY ARM POST ****

Two new pictures today from the race at Leadville at the weekend. Jake Gyllenhaal - aka Local Art Gallery - decided to take pity on the world and display his arms in their fabulous entirety. This is a sight to be savoured as the beard continues its mission to cover Jake's whole body. And, as you can see, that would indeed be a shame...

In this second photo Jake watches and learns as a pro demonstrates the method behind how to hold a tape, while Peter Sarsgaard continues to hone his own disguise skills.

And the trail for Jake continues! The last possible sighting was yesterday when one person tweeted that he met Jake Gyllenhaal in the Home Depot at Scottsboro in Alabama.

And speaking of arms (and chest), there are some fine photos over at PoPsugar today as Jake has made it to the final shirtless four.

Pictures from running blogger Brandon Fuller via IHJ.

Deep breaths... *tries to get on with some work*..... Fails.

Seeing these photos make me incredibly sad. I could have been at that race, watching Jake watching the race! :D Oh well.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Don't be sad Tiffany :) What if you'd been to the race and then not seen him there, or been to the race and only found out afterwards he'd been there and still not seen him? One of these days it'll all come together.

Oh WDW *ER Post* I almost LoL'd in the office. Then I had to gasp, choked and am now in *steady, steady* breathing mode.
OMG one minute you think he's looking a bit 'heavy' (not helped by the beard) and the next you can forgive him anything.

Amazing anyone could ever recognise Peter though!

Wow. Oh wow.

He's killing me. I swear, he's killing me. That body is a perfect Greek warrior statue incarnated.

Oh and where is Peter??

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Had to be done TD! I was going to wait for this evening but Jake's arms made me post them - 'Post us! Post us!' I could hear them saying to me every time I looked at the pic...

Ooh, I think he's looking perfect! He's definitely looking Poppy again - I like that very much indeed :D

Wow.

Hey Lena! Loving the Greek warrior statue image - absolutely! Although he's possibly wearing too much... whch could be fixed.

That's Peter on the right in the second pic - I have to say, he could pass unnoticed in a crowd of grockles in Oxford wearing that outfit :D

GUH, THOSE ARMS....THUD!!!!! Great to see Jake and Peter out and about!

Thanks for the emergency post...much appreciated. :)

Hi, I'm back!

I've been trying to catch up with the last weeks posts. And I just watched LAOD trailer. I'm going to love this movie. Zodiac was #1 in my JG list but if the trailer does not mislead Zodiac will be moved down the list. ;-D

I said OMG, OMG! like BBMISwear said.
.
I vote for more comedy roles for Jake.
He's had enough of dramatic roles. From the batch of movies I ordered I have watched the Moonlight Mile, Donnie Darko, Proof and DAT. Still to see Rendition. Watched the Good Girl by chance on tv during my holidays, I did not like it very much.
So I say, we need more of LAOD kind!
I do not know when will it open in Spain....
I'm going to replay the trailer again. I'm hooked, ;-D.
Is good to be back to WDW.

The funny looking guy in the orange with the glasses and hat? That's Peter??
My god, what are these two going for - undercover hillibillies?
Get your kits off gents, it's summertime!

Karen said...

Ooooh those arms.................what must the rest of his chest look like - he is a tease wearing that vest - yum yum! Thanks WDW that has made my day - as you usually do!

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hey Get Real! Those arms are seriously emergency post deserving - there should be a law that Jake can't cover them up except when it's very cold (or he's on a motorbike).

Eureka! Great to see you - hope you had a good break?! We've been looking after Jake for you - although he does keep giving us the slip. I'm so glad to hear you love the trailers. I'm not a particular Good Girl fan myself but it is a grower. Yep lots like LAOD wouldn't go down a miss. And yeay Zodiac No 1! Excellent :D

That's him, Lena! Expert disguise. Colorado wasn't warm enough for our intrepid twosome - they need to be somewhere hotter.

Hey there Karen! My pleasure :D It's not often we see Jake in a vest - we should encourage him.

Anonymous said...

oh my goodness. WHERE would we Jake fans be without you WDW. you keep your eyes peeled for all the important stuff (like naked arms) Oh my he looks HOT. (I just home that it will be shedding season soon and that beard will meet a merciful end)

thank you!

sweetpea

Jake Fan said...

Well thats strange, from Colorado to Alabama, they are not even close in geography or anything else.

Cazajuguetes said...

Yes, thank you! I had a very relaxing holidays.
And thanks to your post my comeback is much, much smooth and easy.
.
What arms! He had them he still keeps them... ;-D
.
You said somewhere hotter? I can think of a place, my home 29.4ÂșC at home, he,he.
.
Nice to meet/read you all again.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

My pleasure, Sweetpea! I have my priorities sorted out :D

Hi Jake Fan! I know... I have seen tweets of Jake in Alabama before and I've just assumed they were mistaken. Maybe not!

I'm glad Jake's made the return a bit easier, Eureka :) I wouldn't mind some of your weather myself - we have a rain storm going across. It's quite revolting. We wouldn't be able to see any of Jake if he were here!

Claire said...

OMG - hormone overload!! Beautiful pictures - what am I going to do next next week without my computer? (I'll have to take a picture with me....but which one??)

Thanks WDW - keep bringing them to our attention.

CS

Wet Dark and Wild said...

OMG Claire you have to print out pictures! I used to carry pictures of Jake with me everywhere pre laptop days. Once I was watching BBM on a plane and the woman next to me asked if Jake were my boyfriend. I think she'd seen his picture in my purse when I was putting some money away! I can't remember what my response was :D Have a good week!

Anonymous said...

not sure if the alabama sighting is correct he was also tweeted on fb as being seen at a gas station in ca so who knows where where he is till we get pics or more than one tweet or sighting in the same place

Wet Dark and Wild said...

True 16:03 :) But the fuel sighting didn't have a clear date and the sighter may have been on holiday. So yeah, who knows?! But it's fun to speculate.... Has your computer eaten your punctuation?!

LadyEkster said...

Finally home and finally able to watch those fine, fine, FINE pictures! *thud* Now I get why you called it an emergency post. ;)

I completely agree on Lena's Greek Statue statement. *faints some more*

Hiya Eureka! :)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hi Lady Ekster! Just as well Jake has medical training...

I'm off home now too - and it's chucking down out there. I need a boat.

BR said...

Dear God. Those arms should come with a serious health warning.

I'm totally prepared to fight dirty to get near those arms. LOL.

Incidentally, my word for my word verification is 'tarti'. Well played, word verification. Well played.

LadyEkster said...

You know you've been staring at that arm picture too long when... you get jealous of that cup/thingy next to his elbow.
I better go make dinner.

BR said...

LadyEkster: That's hilarious! I have to admit, I was a little impressed at his 'I can totally hold this cup with my bulging bicep' routine. And then I got distracted by that vein...

Wet Dark & Wild, there is another screening tonight at 7p.m. for LAOD in NYC- it is reported on twitter. Some people are offering free screening tickets. I don't live in NYC, but I will check out the twitter reviews tomorrow.

Anonymous said...

well if my punctuation is a problem here ill stick with a few other sites taht are more friendly

winterbird said...

Some arms there :)

Jake is so silly sometimes, he thinks we won't recognize him with all the hair and hat? :P

I dunno, anon. I think posting as anon shows you don't really expect friendliness.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hey BR! I have to admit, I did marvel at the delicacy with which Jake can hold that little cup - sigh :)

That is indeed true, Lady Ekster :D Have a good dinner and then come back and envy the cup again.

That's great, Monica! I'm so glad I made you laugh - and so hot, it's ridiculous.

Ooh, thanks for that information Tina! If only I lived a few thousand miles west... But let's hope we hear something - thanks for keeping your eyes open - appreciate that.

Wow, Anon! I'm sorry you took it like that. I do know English isn't the first language of many people here and humour doesn't always translate.

Hey Winterbird! I know - it's like Jake is in disguise but he wants to leave non-Gyllenhaalics (As Gyllenhaalics obviously could recognise him if he were wrapped in a carpet) some clues. And those arms are so hot sometimes they must be free!

It's still raining - I wonder if it's going to ever stop.

Carol said...

Busy hassle filled day and then back to these pictures:)

Jake and Peter really are trying to blend into the background in that second pic. I didn't even realise that was Peter for awhile.

mermon said...

Hi everybody! How come nobody pays attention to him on these pictures? :)
He seems so relaxed and in good mood.
My favourite movies with Jake are: BBM (for everything, I listen to the soundtrack almost everyday), Donnie Darko (Jake + music + screenplay), Prince of Persia(for his charm, humour, beauty, music, story, etc)and I like all the others. But least of all I like Zodiak and for some of you is nr1. I think I will watch it again, maybe I 'll discover something new.

Alejandra said...

Beardy update from me: liking it. More and more... So if it's a way to keep people from fainting whenever they see him... I must say that trick is just about not to work for me at all. Not if he's going to stand like that. A Greek sculpture indeed!

Oh when will promotion for LAOD start? I'm in need of all that that generally comes with promoting a new Jake film.

Thank you for the daily Jake patches, WDW. And greetings to everyone. ;-)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hi Carol! Your days must be so busy - but Jake's always here when you get some moments - and us, of course. I tried to send you a message on Facebook earlier but it kept bouncing back. I'll include it in my email later :D

Hey Mermon, those are wonderful movies! I love Zodiac - I think part of that is that I travelled to LA for it and then to Cannes to see Jake and it means so much to me. But I love the music and the other actors and Fincher's impeccable recreation of the time and the events. I also think Jake learned so much. But I also love how Jake's films mean different things to each of us. Almost everytime I say I hate Proof, other people say it's a favourite. And I like that :D Lots to discover in Zodiac though - and check out the commentary with Jake and RDJ - love it!

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Greetings Alejandra! And posting at the same time :D Yeah, Jake trying to be in disguise while posing as a Greek warrior god - never going to work! I know - I'm looking forward to more LAOD too and the first SC bits and pieces but it's still a way off I think.

mermon said...

Hahaha! WDW, I'm the one who like Proof very much. :) I like a porch scene, and Jake's running after a car and last scene of Jake and Katherine together. It's so promising. And of course a love scene. He's a great kisser! So far, for me, the hottest Jake's kiss is in Donnie Darko (on a bed).
I also can't wait for LAOD promotion. I hope I will find many of it (if not all) on your site because I don't think I can find it on my Polish TV. They don't show Jake too often here.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

See! That always happens, Mermon :DD But someone has to like it... I know Jake is hot in it and it's a good love scene and there's fantastic running - but it's just so... depressing! And Gwynnie drives me up the wall :D

Don't worry, you'll find it all here!

Wet Dark and Wild said...

PS I've been looking at the arms again...

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Er me again - just watched the LAOD trailer again - it's bloody good, isn't it?

mermon said...

WDW said: "Don't worry, you'll find it all here!"
Yes!Yes!Yes!
It's going to be such an exciting autumn this year! LAOD promotion, movie, Harry Potter movie. And the end of august, this Friday - Avatar longer version!

For me Proof is not depressing at all. Jake-Hal gives Gwyneth-Katherine a faith in herself and a power to go out of a shell and he's so charming as a maths teacher, though he was never good at maths.:)And he was attracted to her just the way she was. Not to any other beauty on the university. It makes me feel better. :) But like you said - we are different and we like different things which is fine.

mermon said...

Me again,
I watched LAOD trailer one hour ago, as well. It's so fresh, funny and touching at the same time.

Emergency arm post tehehe

All that trying to blend into the crowd with hat and beard and glasses... and then letting the arms and shoulders hang out for the world to see.:)

Looking good, Jake, looking good.

Cheers

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hi Mermon! I may go and see Avatar again this Saturday - but I'm torn as there are about 4 other films I want to see too! But a lot to look forward too :D

I'm never going to be won over to Proof but I do like how we all see it so differently. And having said all that, I absolutely adore the beginning of it and I now feel like I want to see that again! And so agreed about the LAOD trailer.

Hey Tui! I know, he just gives the game away * rolls eyes* unlike Peter who's a Master of Disguise :D

Anonymous said...

I'm looking at the arms all day, WDW :D

And I downloaded LAOD trailer to my phone, just in case I got the sudden urge to see it for the 50th time and I wasn't home. Damn straight it's a good trailer ;)

LadyEkster said...

And then I got distracted by that vein... You're right, BR. Never knew a blood vessel could be so sexy.

I'm the one who like Proof very much. :) Me 2. :) I loved it instantly. But it's indeed a good thing we all have our favorites - although I guess that LAOD is going to shift the favorites lists. ;-)

Er me again - just watched the LAOD trailer again - it's bloody good, isn't it? YES! Oh yes. :) I watch it more often than the Pirates 4 teaser with Capt'n Sparrow himself, and me being a Pirates junkie that says a lot. ;-)

(my word is entspeak. Brrharroom!)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

I must put the trailer on my iTouch, lena. Thanks for reminding me! Oh, The Vein...

OMG the Proof fans are ganging up on me! That does say a lot, lady Ekster!

BBMISwear said...

It took me all day to catch up on the last few posts...I just stayed logged in and kept bouncing over in between work related emails and conference calls! What a nice way to take a break - thanks for keeping on top of it all WDW!

And OMG those arms - *THUD* And I laughed so hard at Emergency Arm Post - thanks for the warning - it was needed!

Great stuff over the last few days...sorry I haven't been around to join everyone here with comments but that may be the case more so than not over the next month or so. It sure is fun playing catch up though!

Until next time... :-)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hy BBMISwear! Great to see you - I know how busy you are/will be :-) But how could those arms not distract you? They have our names written all over them :D

Wet Dark and Wild said...

I've just seen two FB 'sightings' saying they've seen Jake on their bus today. One is in Boston and the other is in Queensland, Australia :D

Jake Fan said...

WDW, I love how you respond to everyone. Must be the British in you. And don't worry Jake is with me and all tied up, location can not be disclosed. However he's not liking the razor in my hand.

I just realized, Peter normally has the beard, maybe Peter challenged Jake or lost a bet.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Thank you so much, Jake Fan! That's so nice of you :) I just like to get to get to know everyone more and more. That's very considerate of you to keep Jake all safe and sound but actually Jake is in Oxford organising my kitchen cupboards. He's so handy!

That's so true. Peter is a beard fiend. He can't have one due to work so Jake has to have one. What a partnership!

Alejandra said...

I have to have my say regarding "Proof": I simply loved it. It's not depressing at all. It's uplifting. Among other things, it got me thinking I could do with a guy like Jake's character in my life (then again, maybe I already know people who are soothing and lovely like that and that's why I can be here with you all, enjoying this talk)...

You know what Jake film I have filed under "depressing": "The Good Girl". And yes, I'm teasing TGG fans now ;-)

Jake Fan said...

The most depressing Jake movie is BBM, I haven't to this day watch the movie past the last meeting between Ennis and Jack. Its just too sad. I loved Proof, I thought Jake and Gwen had great chemistry. I also like the Good Girl because of the chemistry between Jake and Jennifer. I think that is Jennifer's best movie role. I wish she and Jake would do another movie together. I know she's older but thats the charm between the two.

OOh my word is Facker, for some reason that reminds me of the Dustin Hoffman, maybe Jake, Jennifer and Dustin could do a movie together.

But while Jake is tied up here in my home, he and I will discuss his future co-stars.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Morning all! What a revolting day... it must be because everyone's gathering for Reading Festial and a Bank Holiday Weekend is coming up.

Hi Alejandra :D I'm always being told by Proof fans that it's not depressing but for me, it's not the story particularly that's depressing (although I think it is!), it's Gwyeth's character and her acting - and zilcho chemistry with jake! But I know a lot of people disagree with me which is great! Be dull if we all liked the same films :D

I've gotta say in The Good Girl, Holden wasn't exactly a laugh a minute. I'd really like to see Jake and Jen in a movie again, I really would.

Hey Jake Fan! That age gap between Jake and Jen seems perfect to me ;D That's indeed true - I have a lot of trouble getting to the end of BBM. Actually, last night, just before going to bed, I was watching bits and pieces of Brokeback on YouTube. First time I'd seen any of it in a long time. Including the trailer, and it brought back floods of feeling and emotion. It was really comforting to find I still felt like that after all this time - over 4 and a half years.

So many people I'd like to see Jake with, again and for the first time. Get a list out of him!

Have a good day everyone - what a great chat, thank you!

mermon said...

Good Morning to all of you!
We really are different. :)
I like Good Girl maybe because of Jennifer Anniston. It is slightly depressing but at the same time funny. The scene with Bubba and Jennifer in bed? Uff! Disgusting but funny. And Jake is so young hot and horny! I like his relationship with Jen and they seem to like each other in real life.
BBM I discovered last june like all the other Jake's movies. It hit me so hard! For me is the most beautiful movie in the world! Not depressing. Since the beginning of June I have seen it many many times, music is so great, Jake looks fantastic, the scenes are like paintings. You could take pictures of every scene practically and the story is so tragic and touching so pretty etc. that I can watch it again and again. This movie moved me like no other. And gave me a lesson to fight for happiness, cause I'm more like Ennis and I would be scared like him but I can see how wrong his choice was (hiding all his life). So I hope if a hard time comes to me I will remind myself of Ennis and be more brave. I'm not a gay. You can relate it to many situation like love between older woman and a younger man. It's also scary.:)
Have a good day everyone, I'm starting to watch Bubble Boy for the first time.

Cazajuguetes said...

Thanks for your Hiya LadyEkster!
.
I have enjoyed so much all the comments in this post.
.
Mermon, BBM was also my discovery of Jake.
Proof is the second movie I saw by chance on tv, was already started, and I agree with WDW, for me it is a little disturbing. Maybe I need to watch it again... And something similar happened with the Good Girl. I like Jen, but I do not like Jake so troubled. Jen's role reminded me a lot to another she played in Office Space or Friends with Money.
.
It is amazing, how we all have our favorites for different reasons.
.
I thought of printing some pictures of him too. But that would make me feel guilty...married with children and another man's picture in my purse. OMG! He,he.
.
By the way, I played LAOD trailer for my husband... he rolled his eyes - for I have given him an intensive Jake summer - and assured me we would go see it...it doesn't look bad -the movie- he said. ;-D
.
WDW, you are welcome to come, 29 ÂșC again at home. So can he be in so many places in one day. Ha,ha.
.
Wow, too long comment.
Cheers

Jake really needs to show off his biceps and shoulders more often, look how he gets us into commenting mood. This page is putting such a huge smile on my face. :) Good thing, I rather need it today.

I've just seen two FB 'sightings' saying they've seen Jake on their bus today. One is in Boston and the other is in Queensland, Australia :D
Oh good! This must mean they have succesfully cloned Jake once. Now get that production in overdrive, we all want one (or two, or three...)!

mermon said...

Hi again.
I like Bubble Boy! It's so warm and funny. I only can't stand Jake's haircut. Living in the bubble was enough for him. :)
I like the ending and the way he looked in suit and his beautiful hair. I'm glad that they showed him in the end with all his beauty. And I found in this movie old good song I like very much - Sometimes when we touch - Dan Hill - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fadtvZCh4ys

LadyEkster said..."This must mean they have succesfully cloned Jake once."
Yes, cloned Jake! It's a great idea. :)

I don't have any pictures of Jake in my purse, but I have to think about putting him on my telephone screen.

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Loving the continuing chat about Jake's films!

Mermon, thanks so much for telling us your BBM story and whether you're an Ennis or Jack. That always fascinates me, me being most absolutely and definitely a Jack (with some really fabulous Ennis-type friends :D). This film has done us all some good. And I love that people continue to discover it.

Hey Eureka! Lovin that you've made your hubby promise to see LAOD with you. Mr WDW has yet to take that step but I think he does all right because you can't walk a step in my flat without stumbling over something Jakey! Not to mention all the lego and figures. He does frame my Jake autographs for me though as he knows how special they are - even though they're growing in number. Winter will be delayed this year because I'm having to keep the frames of Jake and Gemma's autographs from the PoP premiere on the heater :D

Hi lady Ekster! That always reminds me of London Jake Fan and her Jake clones from way back when - I wonder if she still lurks, eh LJF?

I'm so glad you liked Bubble Boy, Mermon! Love it - especially with the Jake commentary. My favourite bits are when he's trying to steal the beer and when he buys that bus ticket!

Hope everyone's having a good day - the rain has stopped. Oh yes :D

Sasha said...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOO so many comments - I'm sorry for not having read them all and might repeat stuff... be nice with me ; )

BUT oh those arms ... I'm pretty tall myself - it's not easy to find a man where I'd say something like: He looks like a greek god next to me - but Jake sure does *sigh-yum-sigh*

And WDW: Don't worry - I guess that anon really took it to seriously - me the german smiled at your comment about the punctuation :D

I sure would be pissed too if I would have been so close and yet so far ... gosh - I'll scream when he'd be so close to me and I miss out on the chance seeing him once and for all in reality not only on the screen.

AND completely off topic / random: Why the heck does this bloggy-thingy says WORD VERIFICATION ... what kind of word is PRONERNF?? Anyone?? Native Speakers???

Anonymous said...

Mermon, congratulations, you are not only a Gyllenhaalic but also a Brokie. :) I'm more of an Ennis myself so I know exactly what you mean.

I don't think BBM is depressing; it's extremely sad and beautiful and everytime I watch it (after I'm done crying my eyes out), I always feel peaceful. I love those boys and think of them everyday still after 4 1/2 years. I can't believe it'll be 5years soon. BBM brought so many new things in my life, like Jake and the chance to chat here with great fun people from all over the world. Oh, and a love for country music. I kid you not. :DDD

Sasha, the word verification is rarely a real word. Mine right now is comphoo. Sounds like some kind of chinese food but I'm pretty sure it's not. :D

Olympia

Tiffany said...

Holy goodness! So many comments! WDW, I know I shouldn't be sad about not catching Jake in CO, but I can't help it :D Someday I'll make it to one of his movie premieres and he'll have no choice but to take a pic with me!

I loved BBM. It is tragic, but I think it also expresses how two people, no matter who they are, what gender, etc, can fall in love, and it's ok. Embrace it. Everyone deserves to be loved. I just can't stand the scene where Jack is murdered. So intensely heartbreaking.

I have to admit, I've never seen The Good Girl. I'm not huge on Jennifer Aniston. It's not really her fault, it was all that "coverage" of her split from Brad Pitt. I'm so sick of those three names: Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Ugh. Enough!

I'm so glad we have WDW! It's a great place for us Gyllenhaalics to commune :D

Alejandra said...

May I? Depressing and sad are totally different. I guess what sets them apart is our tolerance. Something may be extremely sad and still affect our sensitivity in a rather pleasant way. When frustration overcomes pleasure, I guess we're face to face with "depressing".

Personally, I can relate to Proof in many ways. And that does sound depressing but time has turned it into just sad memories...

To me The Good Girl is an everyday life horror tale. And it terrifies me to the point I'm not sure I'd like to see Jen and Jake together in another movie. But I'm open to the possibility. ;-)

Anonymous said...

When Jake won an award from whatever group it was Jennifer who gave him the award and wonderful pictures after.
And she received a Glaad award (I think it was) and Jake presented that to her and they did that little dance.
They have a great friendship and i think she would be lucky (with current movies she has been making) to once again get to act with Jake.
She did get good reviews for "The Good Girl". (As did Jake of course).
KC

Alejandra said...

KC, I am aware of that. I was going to include it in my previous comment but wanted to keep it short so I sacrificed that part.

What I meant, tho, is that The Good Girl did work for me as a horror tale. So effectively, it would take something just as powerful to help me forget about The Good Girl if Jake and Jen were to star in another movie together. Not saying it's a bad film. Just way too bleak. :-)

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Hi Sasha! We'll be kind :D Lovely to have such a chat last night and today! I think it would be really difficuly to be 'normal' if encountering Jake on the street. Somehow on a red carpet it just seems easier to deal with. And Jake will be more in the mood to put his movie star hat on.

My word is spopo!

Hey Olympia! I know what you mean about that sense of peace - I get it too now. It's a good feeling. I haven't got a love for country music now but I can actually tolerate it so that's quite a big leap.

I know what you mean, Tiffany! There has been a lot of overkill - but I do think Jen and Jake have a lot of time for each other. She was good in The Good Girl. I hope she gets another role like that so that the media would focus on that. And thank you!

Hi Alejandra! Thinking about it, you're right. Proof is a sad tale and there's nothing wrong with sad - I normally like a good cathartic movie. But something depresses me about it and I think it must be Gwyn - I find her acting depressing in it. And the lack of chemistry.

Hey KC :D Those award exchanges between Jake and Jen are just wonderful - real affection there. And I remember how Jake told MTV in the UK that Jen was the reason why David Fincher wanted him for Zodiac!

Wet Dark and Wild said...

Posting at the same time, Alejandra :) The Good Girl is a bit too bleak for me too - I love bits of it but I find it hard to watch it as a whole, even though (obviously) I'm a big fan of the Jake and Jen Film Combo!
