Love and Other Drugs trailer goes live! With more new pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway
The Love and Other Drugs trailer is now live! More Jake Gyllenhaal, more Anne Hathaway, more reminders of the good old days of 2 Unlimited, Garbage and 4 Non Blondes. Yeay! The trailer's up and you can download from Apple all manner of versions. Of course, I can't see it until I get home tomorrow... It's extremely inconvenient of Jake's new trailer to come out when I'm on a geographical extremity! So... what's it like?!
After lots of hassle downloading quick time player and finally getting it to run - it was soooo worth it. Much, much better trailer than the one we watched earlier.
Jake looks absolutely gorgeous and Anne looks divine. Perfect mixture. Definitely a tear jerker!!!!!

I had to download too, but it was worth it. I love it. Beautiful details, the cozy autumn, the apartment. A good old fashioned romance. :)

it looks ok, i wish the trailer wasn't so generic.and weirdly they don't mention that Anne's character has Parkinson's.

LAOD looks like a beautiful love story which really shows the range of Jakes acting ability (not to mention some shirtless scenes.):) Anne Hathaway shines too.
Good to see Jake doing comedic scenes, he's a natural.

Thanks for the headsup WDW. Watched it on YouTube as I couldn't be bothered to download quicktime. As far as I'm concerned Jaime Reidy/Randall? (delish) has already totally satisfied me (no viagra was necessary). That's all I wanted - just a taster AT LAST!! Also a clever trailer so that audiences will be surprised by how the story develops. Perfect. So roll on November, good things come to those who wait eh?
The studio knows just what its doing. Let people get a taste of the movie and then hit 'um with the full scope of it. Of course reviews will mention the whole storyline.
As far as trailers go you hear all the time how people think they have too much of the movie in them.

Jake will be waiting for you in all his divine shirtlessness when you get home. ;) In fact, in his original calculations you would already have been home, right? :P I bet he had planned that ET teaser yesterday so it would take you home flying in order to enjoy him in full trailer splendour tonight... but alas, you chose to spend your time otherwise. *big grin*

I do miss the connection to Anne's Parkinson, like others have mentioned already. Too bad, that would have added some depth to the whole thing.

I finally got to watch this...wow....talk about awesome!! Jake and Anne have fantastic chemistry and Jake is perfect as a smooth talking salesman that makes women swoon!
Am sure this is not the final trailer. There will be another one, or two, before the movie comes out in 4 months.
They are not going to give away everything in the first trailer.
This will be a movie, as time goes on, that people will be hearing more and more about.
Oh, and just thought. At the end of the full (lst) trailer we see Jake standing there...and it sure looks like he's in a hospital.

I wanted see more of what's under Jake's t-shrit from the last scene on the trailer.
I cannot stop watching this trailer! And I can't wait for you to finally see it, WDW, and tell us what you think too! Jake and Anne seem so great in this movie based on just this little teaser. And he looks... just... so.... GREAT! Someone already said *THUD* somewhere - I'll second that!!
Ya know what I like most? The first 2 words he says. Those first 2 words. I think I played that part over and over about 100 times already - LOL!

I'll wait for your official "review" - I pretty much just said OMG OMG OMG over and over throughout my first few viewings but you are a real writer and will probably have something a little more profound to say than I did.

This guy is doing it right and deserves the admiration he is getting (and will be getting) IMHO. We all just figured it out a bit (YEARS!) earlier than some - ha ha! Ahhh, that sweet Hey Lisa (and the deep hot one before). Would it be obsessive if I went back and watched it AGAIN?! LOL!!

Hello everyone! Good to see you all - it's been very nice to read your comments. I've had a helluva day - 12 and a half hours on the road, culminating in the exhaust pipe falling off my car and having to wait to be rescued and towed home. Not a good day. But home now, I have internet to go along with the bust car and so at last I can watch the trailer! Thanks to those who cheered me up with texts and emails *)
