While I welcome Jake, Anne and Ed to our shores, I would like to express my apologies that Heathrow already has its Christmas decorations up.
Meanwhile, as we get ready for whatever is in store for us in the UK LAOD-wise, there's still time to play catch up. Firstly there is the matter of the bracelet which, it turns out is something called a silly bandz and, by the sound of it, is a gift from niece Ramona and is of a steogosaurus. Possibly one of these. Speaking as someone who grew up with dinosaurs painted on one half of my bedroom wall and historical figures on the other, I can completely sympathise with this choice of gift for Uncle Jake.
Meanwhile, here you can watch Jake kind of dig himself into a viagra hole, much to the amusement of Anne.
In this video, we have some behind the scenes action from Love and Other Drugs, which judging from the comments and interviews, shouldn't feature any clothes.

So Jake is so close to Poland now! Maybe he could drop here. We have very nice weather.
How lucky you are WDW to have him and Anne in your country, though it may be painful, knowing he is so close and not having a chance to meet him. Or maybe I'm wrong? Maybe you have some possibility? Probably on premiere it will be easier to get closer to Jake.
I like that silly bandz video. It so sweet of Jake to have it with him in such a important time of his work. It shows us how important Ramona is to him.

Hi Mermon! You're lucky to have the nice weather - it's horrible here... It's never that easy having Jake in London as it's not a city where you get papped - red carpets are much easier but I don't think that'll be on this trip.
I love the videos too - and lovely to see Jake and Anne together with Ed walking though Heathrow! I'm hoping to have some news about the London visit but it's still not fixed so stay tuned :)

Another lovely, absolutely must seen interview in two parts. Jake and Anne are a bit sleepy already, tiring day. They behave so natural with each other, like a siblings or the best friends. It just great to listen to them and to look at them.

Excuse me for posting so many post in the row, I just feel a need to tell you that I adore the way Jake looks in all those interview. The same clothes, so the same hard working day. This hairdo and the shade of beard is the best for him. For me he looks even better than in LAOD. I wish to see him like that in the movie. It just a pleasure to watch him.
I know just what you mean, Mermon :) I usually think Jake looks 'better' in real life than he does in the movies and these interviews are wonderful :)

WDW, I don't understand your apologies about Heathrow being decorated for Christmas. If the decorations are tasteful, what's the problem? Not everyone celebrates Christmas at the same time--some sooner than Dec. 25, some later, some right on the 25th. There are some who expect the decorations to be up a bit early. I always leave a few Christmas items up year-round in my house: an ornament cluster, a Christmas pitcher, several Christmas bowls for holding snacks. Without a little something festive in your life, it's just nasty, brutish and short, as Hobbes envisioned it.
I laughed at the video that had the caption "Raw sewage closes Carlsbad Beach." Did they get their captions mixed up, like something out of an episode of "Mary Tyler Moroe Show?" ;-)
Not that we don't have Christmas things in stores somewhere around Halloween, or before.
But city and house decorations usually don't go up until after Thanksgiving. And as the British don't celebrate our Thanksgiving then makes sense the decorations would be up before then.
Anyway, am really enjoying the Jake and Anne show. No doubt they will find another movie to do together.

Hi Paul! It's one of those petty things that winds me up how decorations are put up earlier and earlier each year. I think they should at least wait for December! I like festive stuff just not Christmas festive stuff (I'm such a scrooge :D).

mermon , thanks for adding this great youtube interview link. I just love their very deep conversation about LAOD and the performances. This may be my most favorite Jake & Anne interview to date. Yes, I agree with Jake & Anne , Andrew Freund is " awesome and smart" .
Sigh... I know we keep saying this... But, this is a travesty that Anne & Jake are not a real - life couple . It is like they are breaking one of the laws of physics . If they don't hook-up, Gyllenhaal & Hathaway will cause universal disasters. I'm only joking people !
When I watch them in their clips, I'm absolutely blown away by the similar characteristics they share : magnetism, sexiness, charisma , warmth, confidence, goofiness, intelligence, articulation, generosity, earthiness, and playfulness.
Also , I notice Jake & Anne are constantly touching each other, finishing each other sentences, and providing incredible eye contact- like a boyfriend & girlfriend or husband & wife. They are extremely explosive together. Keep in mind , this isn't something new, they had this wonderful connection since Brokeback Mountain.
Gyllenhaal & Hathaway have much better chemistry than : Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves, Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan. Julia Roberts & Richard Gere, and Leonardo Dicaprio & Kate Winslet. They may have the best onscreen & off screen chemistry since Warren Beatty & Annette Bening (Bugsy). If they don't desire a real romantic relationship ( I guess I have to get over it) , I want them to act in many movies together- similar to Spencer Tracey & Katherine Hepburn.

Jen - I agree with you about Jake and Anne. They behave together like long-time, loving couple. I was thinking what would happen if they both would have been single at the time they had been working on LAOD. As far as I understand the situation, Jake was still with Reese and Anne was probable still with her ex. If not, at least Jake was not available.
Who knows how the things would have flow if they would shot all scenes full of chemistry and hotness being single and liking each other so much. But that's the mystery of destiny. In the meantime Jake became single but Anne has a new boyfriend. That life. It's really nice to watch them. They have like the same level of intellectuality, wisdom and similar sense of humour.

I'm sorry to hear about your awful day at work. I'm starting to feel guilty about what I said about the decorations. I sing in a choral society that rehearses its Christmas repertoire starting in early September. I'm steeped in Christmas music long before Halloween. Not everyone has the holidays on their mind that early. I agree, technically the big public places like terminals should not jump the gun.
I agree that Jake and Ann would make a great couple. If they made a lot of movies together, they would see each other a lot, though not as themselves. And, Jake's longest recent relationships have been with blondes (Kirsten and Reese). That's why there was at least a smidgen of plausibility when OK magazine hinted at a relationsip between Jake and Taylor. Chances are, whoever Jake selects will have to pass muster with Jake's family. ;-) Anyway, the biological clock is ticking...
