The Love and Other Drugs Sydney premiere - Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway in video, words and pictures

The days when Jake Gyllenhaal takes to a red carpet are glorious, especially when it takes place in a country not used to seeing Jake in the flesh (and in a rather lovely suit). Today (or last night), Sydney went wild for Jake and Anne Hathaway as Love and Other Drugs took over George Street's cinema. You can read details here. I'd like to point out that there is a cinema in George Street, Oxford, which is entirely premiere suitable. It even has restaurants next to it.





We've had more details of Jake and Anne's time in Sydney so far and it sounds as if the friends Jake bumped into were none other than Bono and The Edge.

It included a nifty spot of repartee: '"I think it is easier to work with somebody that you find attractive," said Gyllenhaal... "It's always easier to work with things that are naturally occurring." Hathaway also admitted it was not hard to get naked with the 29-year-old actor, who she previously starred with in Brokeback Mountain. "I actually think that 65 to 75 percent of all my nude scenes have been with you," she said. "And you are very attractive so I guess I can safely say yes."'
