Jake Gyllenhaal was yesterday (31 January) seen heading to what has been described as a 'meeting' in Beverly Hills. At the meeting, and I might be making this bit up, Jake was instructed to start work immediately on a minimum of three movies in order for his fans to be kept well supplied with GyllenGoodies for the foreseeable future. Jake wasn't keen on being photographed (either that or he was blowing his nose on his sleeve) but it does give us a chance to get a good look at the new hairdo from every angle.
Talking of work, New Year's Eve is filming at the moment in New York City, where Jake is not. It now seems certain that this project is not in our Jake future.

Looking at the car wash sing and doing a little googling, he might as well have been at 10960 Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood.
And looking for companies in this building, there are several entertainment companies there. So I don't think you made anything up. ;o)

We don't know what they were shouting to him. Sometimes it's very unpleasant and he gets mad. Who wouldn't? When he was younger being photographed could be exciting to him, being a proof, they know him, are interested in him, he was gentle, they were nice. But the thing is paparazzi don't really care if the star smiles to them, shouts or is angry. All kind of humour in pictures are needed. The paps are always satisfied. I remember strange pictures of Nicole Kidman - with white stripes under the eyes. Photographers were taking pictures like crazy, she was smiling to them. Nobody told her about it. It was pitiful. I was sorry for her.
By the way Jake looks gorgeous on those pictures.
Lurrrv the new hairdo. It seems to get better with each new picture. And let's not forget that the hair is not the only asset we're getting a mighty fine look at. *grin*

I just have read that interview with Maggie Gyllenhaal - and I like it a lot. She's such a nice, interesting, warm person. And they seem to create great couple with Peter. She said nice words about him - "I trust him so much and the amount of love we have for each other is so strong."
I saw only one film with her - Donnie Darko. She's not known well in Poland, I don't know about the rest of Europe. All she said is very interesting. I would love to see "Three sisters" in her and Peter performance.

Hi Mermon! Jake does look scrummy. The paps must be a pain, what they yell out (they're hardly subtle), but Jake does a good job.
I'm glad you liked the interview with Maggie! She's made some great films over the years, not always easy to watch but she is a fine actress who's made some interesting choices. I think Peter is one of the best actors of his generation. He's mesmerising on screen, whatever the role. Just love him (and when I met him he was lovely to me).

I will comment more later but in the pics on IHJ of the newest candids, Jake does NOT look happy about whatever the paparazzi are saying to him :( I hope a video doesn't come out of this because I don't want to know what they are saying to him. I think when he has his hand to his face it looks like he is hiding.

I wonder if he will get to see Maggie and Peter in the play, I think the last day is this coming Sun. I know the weather has kept him from coming back to NY. I don't blame him if you got me out to Calif right now you wouldn't get me to leave!

Peter I know and like from few movies - Jarhead, Rendition,The Man in the Iron Mask and probably few more. He's not my type of man, but I like his charming smile, squinted eyes, his way of talking, style and talent. He seems to be a really nice guy.
I don't find Jake upset or angry on all those pictures. On some of them he even looks like smiling, charming as always. Or maybe even mad he's adorable :)

I am glad that I seem to be in the minority in thinking that Jake looks angry in those pap pictures. Maybe I am just seeing things?

I loved the interview with Maggie and love the way she speaks about Peter. I find Maggie to be so sweet and nurturing. That was a great read.
