Jake Gyllenhaal was back pounding the streets of LA on Sunday (6 March). This time, as Jake's training seems to be stepping up a gear, Atticus got a reprieve along with breakfast in bed and a newspaper to chew on. One likes to think that the evidence fits that old trusty formula: Jake + increased exercise = new acting job about to begin.

Ooooooh, Monday suddenly became tolerable and will now require frequent photo breaks. Jake can make a plain white cotton t-shirt look incredible. Sometimes I wish I were a plain white cotton t-shirt...

Well, only that I usually run in the mornings and let me tell you that the people I met along the way don't look like this at all! They look as fed up as I am, with that "Argh!" expression on our faces.

BTW the stylist assistant on me keeps on thinking what's the brand of the structured blue cap he wears so much lately. At first I thought I saw the profile of a fat dinosaur -ahem- but after having some coffee I realized it was the silhouette of a man with a stick?
Being all Sherlock in here, I know the cap has a legend inside the peak, but I can't read it clearly. Any ideas are welcome :)
Hi La Brulee! I don't run much - in fact I can barely stagger - but the runners I do see each day look nothing like a running Jake that's for sure! I'm not sure on the make of hat myself...
