Jake Gyllenhaal back in NYC ahead of tomorrow's Paul Newman gala
All is quiet on the Gyllenfront. Following the controversy of the photos of a smoking Jake Gyllenhaal smoking at the end of last week, Jake is now back in NYC where he's putting things to rights by getting on his bike and spinning it. Jake was spotted at Soul Cycle - on the instructor's bike rather intriguingly and not at all discreetly - and he was also seen having dinner with Maggie at ABC Kitchen, an organic, locally-sourced restaurant. Maggie has, of course, revealed to USA Today, that she is having another daughter.

If he's not into walkabouts, maybe he would consider cross-country cycling?
I saw Mirror, Mirror yesterday. It was funny and it was cute but once I discovered a Jake link I sort of wished I had stayed home and watched some of his movies on DVD. Mare Winningham was the "baker-lady" who worked in the castle's kitchen. She was also in Brothers playing Tommy and Sam Cahill's stepmother.

I'm not tempted by Mirror, Mirror to be honest - I do like Mare Winningham though. Mind you, all films are better than Wrath of the Titans!

I plan to see Mirror, Mirror myself to compare it with another Snow White movie coming up this year.
I like that photo of Jake on the stairs. Very masculine.
Can't wait for tomorrow, hoping for some nice stuff from Jake from the event. Though we may get the news on Tuesday.

Hi 06:05 and Antje - the pictures are the latest in the IHJ Gallery but you have to be logged on there to see them. There was a discussion of them in the comments to the last post.
Hmmm, thanks for informing me. I always look at the pictures only when I visit the IHJ Gallery - with password and all - yet never participate in the discussions. There are pics of Jake at the LA gas station and at Gelson's supermarket (complete with your "beloved" face-pet and a hoodie!). But I could not spot a cigarette anywhere. Oh well, let's just hope he has not taken on that habit of his PERMANENTLY.

Ewwwwww, now I have seen the pictures of Jake smoking. A bit, aherm, disgusting, isn't it???
But who are we to judge him? After all, it's his personal matter/personal choice which bad habit he "sports".

Definitely hoping we get to see more photos from whatever photo shoot that nice photo of Jake on the stairs came from...Lookin' Good! :-)
And I do hope there are many photos (and some video) from tonight's charity event in NYC. @ZebraAdam on Twitter just said he was on stage with Jake that very moment (this was at 4PM EST so I guess that means they're rehearsing). This tweeter is in the orchestra so I'm hoping Jake is on stage doing something set to music other than just speaking (singing? dancing? hmmmm). Hey, one can wish! I guess we'll see soon enough.
Unfortunately there was a sighting this afternoon with the "straggly beard" - maybe it is not going away for tonight's festivities? Hmmm...another wait and see I guess. Eyes peeled!

The arrival photos are on IHJ now and there are on stage photos that have surfaced so probably will be on IHJ soon. By Tuesday morning there should be quite a few to enjoy!
Nice to see a "cleaning up", although not an "elimination", of the face pet - ha ha! I hope there is video from this event that surfaces soon. See you all tomorrow...
