Jake Gyllenhaal has left LA - but to where? For the last week Jake has successfully shown that it can be done, having evaded every member of the paparazzi pack. Good for him but, I'll be honest, I've been missing him. So great to see photos of Jake looking happy and cheerful at LAX just yesterday as he went through exactly the same process as the rest of us. And I'm glad as it gave me a chance to check out another fabulous set of Nike.

JustJared spotted, if you look in the side pocket of the backpack (click on photo below) you'll just make out a selection of fancy lollipops for the journey. No doubt, Jake's not without the gum either. Am I alone in wondering what's in the
La Brea Bakery bag? All this is making me peckish...Who knows where Jake will turn up next but I do know it's good to see him here.

Dispite all the controversy about the pap pics I'm happy when I can seem him in some, not too intruding, photos like these, where he's smiling and relaxed...

Couldn't agree more. Jake seems perfectly happy here - maybe he's off somewhere really good?! - and I see no harm in these pictures. I pass through LAX pretty regularly and I always think of Jake being there, going through the same process (until being whisked off to the first class of course!) and now we see that he does go through the same thing.

All I can think right now is how I would love to be reincarnated as one of Jake's lollipops.Only because I want to relieve him of that ear popping sensation you get on planes (I'm guessing that's what the lollipops are for), nothing to do with feeling those beautiful pouty lips and that tongue wrapped round...err...sorry...just drifted off into fantasy land there.
You're right WDW he does look happy and relaxed, which is always good to see. I wonder if he was running late though, cos that shirt looks like it could do with a quick once over with an iron! But I love scruffy Jake, so no complaints from me. I hope he has a great time, wherever he's going :)
The boy should carry around heavy, lollipop-filled backpacks more often... Look at how the fabric of his shirt stretches around those magnificent pecs....

Not only is Jake looking happy, cheerful and relaxed, he's at his scruffiest best and the shirt is straining and I can't get the image of Jake licking a lolly out of my head now (I wonder if it'll turn his tongue bright red or if they're not that sort of lolly?)

I wish I knew where he was headed/is now... I wonder which terminal that is. This is pure speculation, but it could well be an internal flight. I'm thinking this as I flew out of LAX not that long ago (internationally) and they weren't screening shoes then.
He could be bearing gifts in that goodie bag?

Am I going crazy? Why is no one talking about Reese saying goodbye to him by the car? Why are people trying to put a gay spin on all his relationships and ignoring the fact - like this photo - that Jake and Reese are obviously in a relationship?
That's not Reese, that is one of his PA's. She 1st starting working with him during Zodiac. She is L.A. based I hear and is in charge of his travel arrangements, that's why you see her at the airport with him (there are pics from April picking him up on IHJ as wellas pics of her during award season in '06). His other 2 PA's, the ones that went with him to Cannes, Bafta, did the Zodiac PR stuff are the brunette one and the tall older blonde. Don't ask me why I know this.

Okay, thanks! But she sure looks a LOT like Reese. I couldn't understand why people weren't mentioning it. I think they make a *great* couple. Maybe she is Reese's "stunt double", hee hee.
I have to say I agree that if Jake and Reese were a couple, it would be kinda nice. But whoever makes him happy really. I'd have to give Reese a high five, tho! She's one lucky lady if it's true. :)

I'm aware of the shoe bomber - I'm a frequent flyer to and from and within the US and sometimes I've had my shoes checked but sometimes not, and the last time I flew back from LAX (not many weeks ago) they didn't bother, possibly as I wasn't flying with a US carrier.
I'm glad they got to check Jake's as I love to get a look at his latest pair of Nike :D

And like you, I've had trouble getting the image of Jake with a lolly in his mouth out of my head too ;) I always take a lolly with me when I go on a plane too (I love it that me and Jake have something in common, he's obviously my soulmate lol) from now on I'll always think of Jake whenever I'm on a plane;)

I've never been much of a lolly eater - but I'm quite happy to take it up. I'm a jogger and cyclist, that could compensate for my lack of lollipop experience?
So in the last month we've had Jake on a Boat (Cannes); Jake on a Train; and Jake (almost) on a Plane. What could possibly be next?
Biking and cycling! Wow, I have to admit you trump me on things we have in common with Jake! (BTW I'm not that big a fan of lollies, but my mum always used to make sure we had one whenever we went on a plane, to stop us getting earache, and I've always done it ever since)
As for Jake's next method of transport, I vote for a surfboard.Just think: Jake topless, in shorts, and soaking wet...Hope he's back in LA soon!;)

Isn't Jake just the nicest guy? Going through security is such a pain, but he seems so pleasant and friendly with the security folks -- who are doing such a thankless job. Every day in every way, Jake just gets better and better! Don't know how I could possibly adore him more, but somehow I do believe I will!

I was reading a magazine this morning and there was this Italian journalist that live in NYC and she said that a friend of her has seen Jake in NY sitting in a bar all alone!Can you imagine??

Well, I don't know if this sighting was recent but the journalist said that she moved to NYC not a long ago..sorry but I can't explain myself very good because, as I said in another post, I'm not English:(
