Last month, a TV special in the UK showed behind the scenes footage from Zodiac including film images of a very young and dishevelled Jake looking out of place in the San Francisco Chronicle set. Much attention was also paid to the scene in which Jake's character, Robert Graysmith, draws the Zodiac killer and presents his representation to Paul Avery, Robert Downey Jr. I intend to return to this special - which at the moment I only have in inadequate video - but a good DC friend has made some images from it, which, although a bit squidged, give a good idea of how Jake appeared, especially the young Jake in purple who, so obviously, was the youngster on the Zodiac set. More than anything, these images demonstrated to me how Jake can physically adapt himself to a role or a scene as demanded. I'll return to this programme shortly - it's special.

I love behind the scenes footage and hope that one day we will be able to see all of this special. Thanks for all the hard work you go through bringing us the most interesting things you can find to further enhance our appreciation for Jake and his remarkable films.
Hi Dani! Thanks for that. I'm looking forward to discussing more about this show shortly as it really was good and Jake was adorable and funny, showing that not everything about filming Zodiac was hard work.
I wonder if this kind of thing will be on the DVD. I hope so! I look forward to what you have to add.
