The surreal side of all this is that Jake is appearing on the same show as Jordan and Peter. I don't believe Jake will come all this way for just one show either, so who knows what other TV/radio Jake will do.
Brothers may film in Boston
Brothers becomes more of an imminent reality with each passing week. Besides the rumours concerning the identity of the actress, we now have confirmation that filming is to begin soon. The task is to find a suitable place in which to do it. Screenwriter David Benioff has revealed that Boston is a favourite: '“I was just talking about where we’re going to shoot the movie and Massachusetts is one of the possibilties,” he said. “The other possible place is New Mexico. But everyone would rather come to Boston than New Mexico. Sorry, New Mexico.” “Brothers” is scheduled to start shooting in November and we hear the director, Jim Sheridan, has already been in town scouting locations.'
Rendition in Rome on 21 October
Thanks to Xenia, we know now that Rendition will play at the Rome International Film Festival on 21 October. The viewing will take place at the Sala Sante Cecilia theatre and there are rumours that Reese, and possibly, Jake will be there. Are we seeing the signs of a Jake Gyllenhaal European Tour?

I'd love to watch the show but will be forced to wait for some good person to YouTube it.
I would be very surprised if Jake eschewed the entire intervening week of possible US promotion on the talk show circuit by remaining in Europe between 10/12 and 10/21. Anything is possible, of course. But I really, really want to see him do some more stuff over here. Zodiac week spoiled me, I'm afraid. Nothing less will satisfy me. ;)
Hi Cherita :) - Jordan (or Katie Price) and Peter Andre are UK reality TV 'stars' - she's famous for her assets. He was a singer in 90s (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) and they met on a Reality TV show (I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here) and got married. I'm just trying to imagine Jordan and Jake in the same room...
I'm sure Jake will do US shows too - but it's been ages since Jake did a talk show here (JR again) - not since TDAT in 2005 I believe and so I think we're definitely due a couple. It's a real rarity for us over here to see Jake on TV and not just on a YouTube recording.
I really, really want to see Jake do the shows in the US again, but I really, really want to see him do JR too! More the merrier :D
Wow, lots of exciting news!! I HOPE someone in the UK will YouTube JR for us?!?! *Puppy eyes* I would LOVE to see that. Jake will be very busy the next few weeks. October 5th is the big New Line Party that the "Rendition" cast is supposed to be at in NYC. I know Ramona's birthday is coming up too so I am sure he will want to be wherever she is. :D Then off to the UK and I am guessing and hoping he will do the US talk show circuit too. Then possibley back to Europe for the Rome film fest?!? Well, I guess of the "Spiderman" crew could be flown from country to country for a week or two of promotion for their movie, Jake can fly around for this. ;D
And I am glad to report that there have been quite a few "Rendition" commercials on tv this week! And interesting news about "Brothers" filming in Boston. Crossing fingers that the rumors about Mischa B. are not true.

How exciting - Jake visiting London (!) and Rome. He's going to be very busy with the Rendition promotion, and I'm so looking forward to it. And maybe filming Brothers in Boston? I about fell out of my chair when I read that. If they need a dialect coach, I am totally at their disposal! ;)
I'm only a little bit familiar with Mischa Barton from the few times I've watched the OC, and I did see Notting Hill which I loved. I've heard of the romance of the century between Jordan and Peter too, all the way across the pond. ;)

As you say, it looks like Jake's going to have a busy, but very exciting, fortnight or so! I understand JR is filmed on the Thursday. he may well attend the New Line party in NYC and the Rome event. And I'm sure there'll be more - the US TV circuit won't be excluded I'm sure. It looks like there'll be something for everyone and in the end we should all get it all! It's going to be a great time :D We need to keep our ears open to hear what might go on - very exciting!
That's great that you've seen adverts for Rendition - there's been nothing in the UK that I've seen, which is frustrating as it opens at the same time here. Zodiac had next to no publicity in Europe except for Cannes - let's hope Rendition can make a difference.

Old? Tell me about it! All this talk of indie music made me remember that I've been a fan of and have been listening to so-called "indie" music for well over 20 years, when I discovered alternative and college radio stations playing the most creative songs, and intelligently amusing. I love all kinds of music, but I tend to gravitate to indie because of it's creativity, freshness, and that the focus isn't on commercialism, only maybe when they hit the big time! I like to say "oh yeah, I remember them when".
If I ever get to see anything related to Brothers filming in Boston, believe me, you'll all be the first to know! ;)
Interview magazine isn't out on my newstands yet either, and I wasn't able to hear the clip with David and Jake yet, so maybe it'll work today. :)

During the press junket Hugh Grant inadvertently becomes part of, he's shuffled from room to room to interview the actors from Julia's new movie. One of the interviewees is the young, and precocious, 12 year old actress from the film. Mischa Barton.

I must admit I had a little chuckle to myself when I read that Katie and Peter were going to be on the same JR show. It'll be a lively green room that night,for sure! I'm not sure Jake will have come across too many women as gobby and full on as our Katie aka Jordan,bless her,and even with her husband in tow,I wouldn't put it past her to do some outrageous flirting with Jake. It would be interesting to see how he handles it.
For those of you not familiar with Katie/Jordan,she's a British "glamour model",best known
for two things,both of them made of silicone. I wouldn't say they were big,but the last time I saw an outline like that it was the photo-finish in a Zeppelin race! And she can talk the teeth out of a saw,so it should be a real laugh! Can't wait!
I'm not surprised that those involved with "Brothers" are in favour of Boston as a location,rather than New Mexico. I would think Jake would definitely by pulling for that as he'd be within easy reach of Maggie,Peter and his beloved Ramona,and Chris on the doorstep too,so it would be pretty much a home shoot for him. I'm talking as if he's been confirmed in the role already,which I don't think is the case,but I definitely have a good feeling about it! :-)

I really enjoyed his interview with Jamie Foxx, but I kept thinking "Never mind his Oscar and his new movie(which lokks really good btw),when's he going to ask him about Jake?" For us Brits, this is such great news - it feels like such a long time since we saw Jake here - Jake came here for the Baftas when Zodiac came out, and for some junkets, but no chat shows. I did a backflip too, without a doubt. And there'll be other shows too - maybe Parky and is Jo Wiley doing anything on the radio as her crush for Jake is legendary!
I had a big chuckle too when I saw that Jordan and Peter were on the same show - I can just imagine Katie fluttering those eyelashes - and other accessories- at Jake! I love your zeppelin comment, Nadine. I saw Katie when she was doing a book talk not that long ago and she was very funny.
As for Brothers, Boston would be perfect for Jake and I hope it's filmed there for his sake :)

DVDs produced by DVD recorder can be watched by standard, free DVD player on your PC + you can make screen captures.
In order to make MPG videos you will need DVD Ripper software (~40 USD).

Oh dear, Jake looks absolutely distraught in the latest update on IHeartJakeMedia. The paps seem to be getting bolder and bolder now (like ambushing Jake in his frigging car!), which, I remember, they did a while back as well, even with Jake motioning them to go away (with the cutting-the-throat sign, the picture of which I can't seem to find at the moment). I hope this doesn't cause him to go into hiding or something, although I can't blame the guy if he did :P.
Anywhoo, can anyone tell what's in his mouth? Looks like a toothpick, methinks.
On another note, I think I may have changed my mind about the facial hair. The pictures really made me reconsider my stance on the issue that Shaved!Jake is better than Scruffy!Jake (lol, I sound like a politician). Actually, I think the hair now looks tons better than the aging job they did on Jack in Brokeback. Still, Any!Jake is better than No!Jake!
Even when ambushed by paparazzi, he still looks ever-so dashing. And yummy. Can't forget yummy.
hi fourplay! Still on my phone here :( I managed to see the pics and I think they just show a man annoyed to be having cameras going off so close to his face while driving. After a minute or two jake will be away from them and probably remembering a good party. So you're coming round to the beard now! I can definitely see the beauty in both too!
Since I'm not from the UK, this appearance of Jake on this JR show sounds like its gonna be alot of fun! I'm sure between WDW and IHJ, someone will put it up on youtube.
I got a friend of mine who subscribes to IMDb Pro to check out the Brothers page. It's already apparent but, it is official on both Jake and Tobey's page that their attached to this, but so far anyway, Mischa Barton is NOT listed (phew!).
Mischa Barton also happened to have been in one of Enrique Iglesias music video's.
Jake will certainly be a busy boy in October jetsetting all over the world. Here's hoping that since Rendition is premiering in the US, UK, and Canada, all on Oct. 19th, that we'll see him doing promotion/TV interviews/magazine interviews a little bit in all 3 countries!

It is a shame in the latest pics on IHJ, Jake does look somewhat peeved, and you certainly can't blame him. It's a bit bold that they were also able to photograph inside his car (you can see a pic of the original Charlie's Angels). Jake knows it comes with the business, but I'm sure it can be quite trying for him at times.

I hate the hunted look in his eyes,it's maybe just temper and exasperation but he has the air of a cornered animal about him and,but for the car windows,they'd be shoving their cameras up his nostril. Let's hope this more aggressive,quite literally in-yer-face kind of papping doesn't start to become a regular occurrence!

Oh Nadine, you must have read my mind, that's exactly what I thought when I saw the pics. Honestly, I understand that he would've wanted to get away asap, but it only takes a few seconds to put a seatbelt on and it's not worth putting himself in danger like that. I'm quite happy to nevber see those pics again, once was enough. He looks seriously pissed off and upset. I hope it's just cos of the paps but he usually just seems to take them in his stride and ignore them, so I hope he's ok.It's not often I feel at all motherly or sisterly towards Jake,but I really wanted to just give him a hug after seeing those pics, but not in the way I usually do. Hopefully WDW is right and he's forgotten all about it now:)
And yes, Nadine, you're right we've got plenty to look forward to. Jake on JR (and I'm sure he'll be on other shows), Jake in Rome doing his Movie Star thing, and of course, Rendition itself. Is it me or does it feel like Christmas has come early (and not just because all the shops are full of mince pies and xmas cards already!!! it's only September, for crying out loud!!! )

Those pics; he's sharply dressed (which I like) but obviously harrassed (which I don't). Maybe he should take the lead from kate Moss, Madonna and Liz Hurley and buy a bolt hole in the Cotswolds where he can play lord of the manor and jog around his estate to his heart's content.

Hi Nadine - I think that if this was a private Hollywood party the paps would have been lying in wait for whomever they could get. It can't be pleasant having to run the gauntlet like that. That is definitely the downside to the job just as we all have downsides to our own jobs.
Hi Twisted Logic - I would think Jake's expression is because of the situation at that moment and not from anything else. Having flash bulbs go off in your face like that when you're trying to drive through a crush of paps. Maybe he got the toes of one or two of them...
It really is a bonanza Jake time for us (I couldn't believe it when I saw the Christmas stuff in the shops yesterday.... OT moan). Definitely time to start thinking about getting in the Jake calendars. An advent calendar is a great idea - Jake and chocolate :D
