For everyone who said that Jake was growing the beard for Brothers - you were right. Jake owns up to it here - 'I'm growing a beard'. Yep, we noticed. And, he says, it's for his film that is about to start shooting (giving us some idea about Jake's look in Brothers). So, all those who needed more proof that Brothers is going to go ahead with Jake in it, I think this should do it. One wonders how much bigger the beard has to get though...
Now here's an interesting thing - Jake says in this interview that he filmed Ellen Degeneres' show the day before the LA premiere (she liked the Interview cover and features - and who wouldn't?). So it looks like Jake will be staying in NYC next week. As for the title of Most Eligible Bachelor? 'I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks now, and it feels good!'

I was wondering the same thing, how long the beard is supposed to be for "Brothers". It's still 3 weeks until November!

It is a bit scary to think that Jake's beard is probably going to get alot bigger. He looks much better sans beard. That face is just to handsome to hide.
I agree too, that Terry Seymour can get on the annoying side at times in interviews.
Jake certainly can be savy in interviews, and knows how to deflect away from certain topics.
There do seem some worries in the US that this film isn't going to do the business, which may explain why we are getting so much promotion over here. Reviews still seem fairly mixed, but I'm holding off until I can pass judgement myself.
Oh, and Jake doing the play is now on the IMDB gossip pages, giving it a new level of credibility!

About Jake's beard I think that one of the gazillion reasons he's so attractive to me is that he's not afraid to look less attractive...and I don't find baerded Jake less attractive at all.:)

You did stay up late last night,WDW! That "Extra" video was great,with Mr.Flirtatious giving it some. So funny when he turned round to identify that stony-faced bodyguard with the sense-of-humour by-pass as his date for the evening.
It's so savvy of Jake to say that he tends not to take a date to premieres etc because it's work. So much easier to keep the private stuff private that way. He's deflected speculation before by taking his lovely sister with him on the red carpet. Good on him for being up for doing these appearances on his own and not feeling he has to have a trophy girlfriend hanging off his arm to prove what a man he is. We don't need any proof that he's a special kind of man anyway,do we?
I know what you mean about the romantic fantasies,sunset beaches with Jake etc,TL,only I'm never in my fantasies,I'm just a fly-on-the-wall (or on the palm tree,seeing as we're talking beaches here)and Jake has a someone else as a co-star in said fantasy. I've tried to find out via the websites of my 2 local cinemas(local being all of 15-20 miles away ;-( ) if they have "Rendition" showing as of Fri 19th but their listings only go up to the 18th. Looks like I'm going to have to go against my principles and call their rip-off phone lines,because they're not answering my e-mails either! I think I'm going to have to mail you about those Guardian preview showing,WDW,just in case,by some miracle,there's one happening out here in the sticks!
Is it just me,or is everyone else really restless,jittery and full of butterflies in anticipation of JR tonight? Can't settle to anything.I have my tape set up and primed but the Obsessive/Compulsive in me will probably have me checking it a few more times before the show starts...and I have 2 spare tapes on stand-by in case of disasters. Maybe I should just get some therapy! :-{

Hey Twisted Logic - it's a pain that cinemas only announce their schedules on the Monday or Tuesday. I got tickets for the preview - it's meant having to take a day off work but well worth it!
