Prince of my dreams - Jake Gyllenhaal is Prince Dastan
I have a new love in my life and his name is Prince Dastan - the way he holds that sword, grasps those reins and grins that smile of pure exuberance. Here are some more pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal, aka Prince of my Dreams, from the wonderful IHeartJake.

Hi TL! I swear I am mush... I think there's a good chance I may never see PoP simply because I will pass out in my theatre seat. Jake looks so sexy! I think the trailer alone will do me in!
I can see Im gonna be a nervous wreck over this film. Jenna's horse with silvery mane is awesome, but Jake's horse looks a little confused, as does Jacobo, but wtf he was raised in the Boo - and has a way to go.

I think he looks great! Love the video, both Jake and Gemma look very natural riding, relaxed. Jake's torso and arms are very powerful looking, and yes, he's incredibly sexy. The horses are beautiful, and have a very regal bearing. If they look this good now, just imagine how the final film will look! :)
p.s. sad memory of Jake in BBMt extras saying that he counted on Heath, and Heath's familiarity with horses, and horsemanship, to help him out if he got in trouble.

Hehe, he is looking so - damn, can't find the right word, not even in German - on the horse... It's not "hot" I am looking for, although he looks that too... :D Floppy? Fluffy? Wobbly? Those words have the right sound, but the wrong meaning... I mean his arm and kind of his whole body being so loose? :D :D :D
It makes me so happy to see him having so much fun - at least it looks like that to me... And there is some goofy Jake too! Sigh...

I really like these initial peeks we're getting - I can hardly wait to see the results. I hope they'll give us regular reports. You can almost project ahead to imagine what the film will look like. I love all the motion and the action you can see with the riding, even in the still pics - really gives a sense of freedom, I love it. Wheeeee! ;)

BBM was a few years ago, of course he needed a bit praxis again. I think he's doing fine on the horse.

Even for me, one of the more scathing and sceptical when I first heard Jake had signed on to bring a video game to life,these pictures are a real tonic and I'm starting to get really into this project!
Pia,you took the words right out of my mouth,I thought immediately of Jake's quote about relying on Heath to get him out of trouble because he was virtually born in the saddle and Jake was a rookie by comparison :-/ I love the idea,posted by Anon 2.34 yesterday that Heath's still watching over Jake. Awwww, bet he is too!
The best thing about the photos (apart from Jake looking so built!) is that he seems to be having a great time getting trained up for this film. It's a treat to see him so relaxed and happy!
Yep,I think I'm being won round and I'm going to enjoy PoP as much as anybody - there won't be a dry seat in the house! ;-)
Hi Nadine! It's going to be hard not getting into this film, especially seeing the fun that Jake's having. That's a big bonus for me too and I'm a lover of the videogame and the project. And the body! This role just suits our guy!
