Nailed on the way?

So maybe Nailed will reach the silver screen this summer, after all? Fingers crossed...

'The Somerset County woman is scheduled to co-star with actors Tracy Morgan, Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal in the romantic comedy "Nailed," which in July completed filming in South Carolina. The movie, which revolves around a waitress who gets a nail accidentally lodged in her head and causes unpredictable behavior, is scheduled to arrive in theaters this summer, Williams said in a recent telephone interview.'

2009 is given as the year of release for "Nailed" at imdb.com, so it's very plausible that it would come out this summer.

I have my fingers crossed. :-)

Hi Paul :D My fingers are definitely crossed. The date at IMDb has been there since filming began and before the troubles with its completion and distribution started, so I've never placed any faith in the date. Rumours and suggestions such as these give me more hope. Definitely good news!

Hi, I was a featured extra on Nailed. I am always trying to find out info and articles and this is the first place I check. I really enjoyed working with the cast and crew who where extremely friendly. I just wish they would put more information on Imdb.com about its future. I agree about the 2009 release date, it has been up their from the beginning.

Hi Anon :D Good to hear from you - I'm really pleased to hear that the filming was such an enjoyable experience. We would all here love to hear more about it if you feel like it :)

I do believe that these little hints and rumours that we get in articles such as these - plus reports, for example, of Jessica recording the voiceover - have far more value than the unsubstantiated information on IMDb concerning Nailed, which has remained unchanged for months.

Thanks for commenting!

Hi Again,

my days on set consisted of me being and extra at the state house...amazing because Jessica Biel was there. It was four days of 15 hours of standing and star gazing. I was over being an extra by the third day, but just as it began to end annoy me, I was asked to move a tv for a better extra part "camera time". I will def be in nailed if the state house scene is not edited out "highly doubtful". We filmed the part of me movie of moving the tv for the vote for about 45 mins. David O Russell is a jerk and everyone knows it. He yelled at me a few times, but maybe thats how the movie industry works idk.

I met everyone

Paul Reubans was the nicest and Jessica Biel was stunning.

That was my experience on the set of Nailed.

Thanks for that, LW :D It sounds to me like you know you've done something right if O'Russell yells at you... You are so lucky for those days - and yes Jessica is lovely :D I hope your scene makes it, I'll look out for it :) I'm particularly fond of Nailed because of the accounts we've heard here from people who went along to look at the filming or who were involved in it, like yourself. So fingers crossed and roll on the summer.

I sure hope this is true. I need a Jake fix real bad. A new movie would be just the thing.

Those are great news, really.
I need a Jake fix too Gail, and it has to be a big screen one.

Thanks for the info, WDW.:)

Double posting because I forgot to add that Easy Virtue is in the Italian theatres these days and a lot of mags are featuring Jessica Biel interviews, all of them mentioning Nailed among the future viewings...finger crossed. :)

Me too, Gail... :)

Hi there Xenia! That's good news about the Jessica Biel interviews. Maybe it is getting closer after all!

Does anyone know if they finished the last scene? They messed up their final attempt in columbia to film a key part where biel gets the nail stuck in her head. I was told it would be finish in burbank CA.

Hi Anon, that's interesting - thanks :) Jessica was working on Nailed at Burbank not that long ago so maybe that scene was part of that. I think I may have my eyes covered for that scene...
